Hormones and Secretions A Journey from Inside Your Body to the Outside

“Hormones and Secretions” – A Journey from Inside Your Body to the Outside 👣

There’s a secret language your body speaks every moment.
Hidden messages and signals, commands being executed, and reactions being shaped.
And what manages all of this?
A chemical whisper called hormones.

What are hormones?
They are chemical messages sent through your bloodstream,
to reach different organs and tell them what to do and when.

👑 Female Hormones – The Leaders of the Reproductive System

Estrogen:
Responsible for female body development. It controls egg maturation, the menstrual cycle and uterine lining, pregnancy, skin texture, bones, vaginal secretions, and even mood and emotions.

Progesterone:
Stabilizes pregnancy, regulates the menstrual cycle, and calms the body after ovulation.

FSH & LH:
Control ovulation and the fertility cycle.

Testosterone:
Exists in small amounts, but affects libido, muscle mass, hair growth, and skin condition.

🧠 Pituitary Hormones – The Main Control Center

Prolactin:
Responsible for milk production. If elevated, it can disrupt ovulation and cause menstrual and fertility issues.

Oxytocin:
Appears during childbirth, emotional bonding, and breastfeeding – it triggers uterine contractions and milk release.

TSH:
Regulates the thyroid gland, which in turn influences all other hormones.

😰 Stress and Mood Hormones

Cortisol:
Produced during stress or anxiety.
If it rises too much, it causes fat storage, disrupts sleep and ovulation, and creates hormonal imbalance.

Adrenaline:
Appears during fear, affecting heart rate and sweating.

⚡ Metabolism and Energy Hormones

Insulin:
Regulates blood sugar. If imbalanced, it can lead to PCOS, weight gain, and oily skin.

T3 / T4 (Thyroid hormones):
Regulate body temperature, fertility, digestion, and energy.

🎯 Every secretion from your body (blood, sweat, urine, milk, mucus, tears…)
is actually a signal from a certain hormone.
If that hormone is out of balance, the signal gets messed up,
and the problem starts even before you feel it.
